Loophouse has become renowned for providing innovative rug and carpet design solutions to designers and architects as well as private clients globally, attracting commissions from many household names.
Owner, founder and designer, Lorraine Statham draws inspiration from her personal observations, "Everyone has their own perspective on life. Individual taste and style can be influenced by cultures and fashions from around the world. Texture, tone and pattern within a room can transform a space, bringing the best out of furniture and accessories."
It is this ability to draw inspiration from almost anywhere, along with her own inimitable sense of style, that has made Loophouse one of the most exciting studios in London today.
Founder Lorraine Statham established loophouse in 1992, designing custom made contemporary rugs and wall art and offering a comprehensive commission service from inception to installation.
Her first collection was featured at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in 1998 and in 2002 she won the Small Business Bureau's "Women into Business" prize. Her products have been seen in prestigious places such as The Guggenheim Museum in Venice and New York, celebrity residences in US and at the luxurious Glasshouse Hotel in Edinburgh.
